Senior Data Scientist

• Key tasks & accountabilities
• Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects, from data collection and preprocessing to model development, deployment, and performance monitoring.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, gather feedback, and align AI solutions with strategic objectives.
• Present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders, translating data-driven findings into actionable business strategies.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML methodologies, including forecasting, clustering, regression, classification, optimization, deep learning, and Generative AI.
• Expertise in data manipulation using Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms for machine learning applications.
• Experience with OCR technologies (both open-source and enterprise-grade tools).
• Exposure to ML Ops and containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure Tech Stack, Databricks, and ML Flow.
• Drive the development of scalable AI/ML solutions that can be leveraged across multiple markets.
• Passion for building large-scale, AI-powered products, ensuring seamless integration with business workflows.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in AI and data science, continuously improving methodologies and tools.

3. Qualifications, Experience, Skills

Level of educational attainment required (1 or more of the following)

• B.Tech/BE/ Masters in Statistics or Economics/ econometrics, MBA.
  

Previous Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  

Technical Skills Required

• Strong programming skills in Python (ability to build end-to-end ML/data pipelines is a plus).
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in solving business problems.
• Hands-on expertise in statistical analysis, ML concepts, and optimization techniques.
• Experience in building and deploying large-scale software applications.
• Proficiency in Git for version control.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Passion for solving complex business challenges using data-driven insights.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly inquisitive.
• Curious, fast learner, and a strong team player.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
