Role: Sr Data Engineer

Primary skill set ; Power BI with strong in SQL functions and ADF

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in data engineering, specifically with
• Create compelling and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
• Design and implement Power BI data models that efficiently integrate with various data sources.
• Automate report delivery and scheduling using Power Automate or similar tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate those into actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
• Design and implement data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval strategies to ensure efficient use of resources and fast query performance.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
• Act as a technical authority within the team, providing guidance on data engineering principles, Azure platform, and Power BI tools.
• Design, architect, and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other relevant technologies.
• Ensure adherence to data governance standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and resolve issues proactively.
• Oversee and manage a team of data engineers, ensuring they meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Develop and implement team guidelines, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and performance.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve their skills and career development.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to discuss progress, address concerns, and set goals.
