Senior Data Analyst

Job Description Key Responsibilities : Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to drive critical business insights. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to effectively extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources. Optimize and maintain SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and reliability. Develop robust data models and implement sophisticated DAX calculations in Power BI for advanced analytics. Integrate Power BI with diverse data sources, including various databases, cloud storage solutions, and APIs. Work closely with business stakeholders to meticulously gather requirements and translate them into actionable Business Intelligence solutions. Troubleshoot performance issues related to Power BI dashboards and SQL queries, ensuring optimal system performance. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI, SQL, and the broader field of data analytics. All About You Hands-on experience managing technology projects with demonstrated ability to understand complex data and technology initiatives Ability to lead and influence others to advance deliverables Understanding of emerging technologies including but not limited to, cloud architecture, machine learning/AI and Big Data infrastructure Data architecture experience and experience in building data models. Experience deploying and working with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Sqoop. Experience with streaming frameworks like Kafka and Axon and pipelines like Nifi, Proficient in OO programming (Python Java/Springboot/J2EE, and Scala) Experience with the Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Yarn, MapReduce, Spark, Hive, Impala), Experience with Linux, Unix command line, Unix Shell Scripting, SQL and any Scripting language Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Domo, and/or PowerBI is a plus.
