Job Description

A Senior Content Strategist is responsible for planning, leading, and optimizing content initiatives to support an organization’s branding, marketing, communication, and business goals.

Responsibilities of a Senior Content Strategist1. Content Strategy & Planning

• Develop and own the overall content strategy aligned with business and marketing objectives.
• Define content goals, tone, messaging, and positioning across platforms.
• Create content roadmaps and editorial calendars.

2. Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor content writers, editors, designers, and freelancers.
• Review, edit, and approve content to ensure quality and consistency.
• Assign tasks and manage deadlines.

3. Brand Voice & Messaging

• Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and communication standards.
• Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content.

4. Content Creation & Optimization

• Oversee creation of content such as:
• Website and landing pages
• Blogs and articles
• Social media content
• Email campaigns
• Brochures, scripts, and academic/educational content
• Optimize content for SEO, engagement, and conversion.

5. Performance Tracking & Analytics

• Monitor content performance using analytics tools.
• Measure KPIs such as traffic, engagement, leads, and conversions.
• Refine strategies based on data insights.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, sales, design, digital, and academic teams.
• Support campaigns, product launches, and institutional initiatives.
• Ensure content supports both short-term campaigns and long-term goals.

7. Content Governance & Quality Control

• Maintain content standards, workflows, and approval processes.
• Audit existing content and update or repurpose when required.
• Ensure content is accurate, compliant, and up to date.

8. Innovation & Market Research

• Stay updated on content trends, digital platforms, and audience behavior.
• Research competitors and industry best practices.
• Introduce new formats and storytelling methods.

Qualification & Experience

• Location preferring Ernakulam
• Experience : 3 plus years
• Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline; IT/Computer-related preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
