Job Description

Need a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with deep expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices-based applications in cloud and hybrid environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable microservices using Java Architect and implement microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other relevant frameworks. Participate in system design and architectural decisions to ensure high reliability and performance. Collaborate with DevOps to containerize applications using Docker and deploy via Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party APIs and internal systems. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and secure coding standards. Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality. Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes and optimizations. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Required Skills & Qualifications 7-10 years of professional software development experience using Java. Strong experience in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful services. Proficiency in building and maintaining Microservices in a production environment. Good understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes). Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and cloud-native design patterns. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, or Teamcity. Good knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and tools like JUnit. Good Knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., MSSQL, Snowflake). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience with API gateways (e.g. Apigee). Familiarity with event-driven architecture and CQRS patterns. Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform). Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. Experience in domain-driven design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD). Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and other security/authentication mechanisms. Show more Show less
