Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all civil works related to industrial construction projects. This includes overseeing site execution, ensuring quality and safety compliance, managing contractors, and coordinating with other engineering disciplines to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead civil engineering activities for large-scale Projects.
• Review and validate civil and structural designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Supervise site execution of civil works including excavation, foundation, RCC, steel structures, flooring, drainage, and other industrial infrastructure components.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project schedules, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients for seamless project execution.
• Prepare and review BOQs, tender documents, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and environmental norms.
• Track material consumption, labor deployment, and progress reports.
• Support in project planning, budgeting, and reporting to senior management.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and site supervisors.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in handling industrial construction projects (e.g., pharma plants, FMCG units, warehouses, process plants, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, construction techniques, and project management.
• Familiarity with relevant codes (IS codes, NBC, etc.), AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project/Primavera.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve site-level conflicts.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• PMP or equivalent project management certification (optional)
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Health and Safety (HSE) certification (desirable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
