We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in U.S. Partnership Taxation, including Schedule K-1, Form 1065, 1022, and relevant IRS regulations. The candidate will play role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the analysis, design, and implementation of tax technology solutions, process automation, and compliance systems Key Responsibilities Collaborate with clients and development teams to gather and document business requirements related to U.S. partnership taxation. Analyze existing tax processes (manual or legacy systems) and recommend technology-driven enhancements. Develop detailed BRDs (Business Requirements Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), user stories, and process flows. Interpret IRS partnership tax rules and ensure alignment with Form 1065, Schedule K-1, and other relevant tax forms. Experience updating Federal and State data in Gosystem and CCH Axcess Knowledge of Corporate Tax (Form 1120) Support system design, data mapping, validations, and integration with external tax software or reporting platforms. Assist in creating test scenarios and validate system outputs against expected tax calculations and compliance norms. Act as a liaison between tax professionals, product managers, and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely solution delivery. Monitor changes in IRS partnership tax regulations and translate them into business/functional impacts. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 4 years focused on U.S. partnership taxation. In-depth understanding of U.S. tax code provisions for partnerships, including Subchapter K. Hands-on experience with Form 1065, Schedule K-1, and related reporting requirements. Strong documentation skills and ability to create tax rule-based requirements. Proficient in tools such as Excel, Visio, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and business process modeling techniques. Experience updating Federal and State data in Gosystem and CCH Axcess Good knowledge of Corporate Tax (Form 1120) Familiarity with XML/IRS e-file standards for partnership returns. Background in public accounting or working with U.S.-based tax consulting clients.
