Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing personalized travel itineraries, managing end-to-end bookings, and ensuring a seamless travel experience for our clients
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and sell domestic and international travel packages including flights, hotels, tours, visas, and insurance.
• Consult with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, transportation options, accommodations, and activities.
• Handle travel inquiries through phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Manage bookings using travel reservation systems (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre or equivalent).
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to get the best rates.
• Provide post-booking support and handle changes or cancellations efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of client information and bookings.
• Upsell additional travel services such as insurance, upgrades, and excursions.
• Keep updated with travel trends, safety protocols, and visa regulations.
• Train and support junior consultants as needed.
• Manage end-to-end on-tour operations, including coordination with transport, accommodation, guides, and local vendors.
• Drive travel sales and meet revenue targets through effective customer engagement and upselling.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with any stream
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a travel consultancy role.
• In-depth knowledge of global travel destinations and tourism trends.
• Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Familiarity with visa processes and international travel documentation.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in B2B and B2C travel sales is an advantage.
• Multitasking person required
