Senior Business Operations Specialist, Managed Cloud Services

As a key member of the SAS Managed Cloud Services (MCS) Business Operations team, you will play a vital role in enhancing our hosting and remote managed services through the utilization of cutting-edge technologies. Your primary focus will be on improving the customer experience and operational efficiencies to align with the strategic goals of the organization. Your responsibilities will involve various aspects of business operations, including but not limited to developing and executing business strategies, providing leadership and direction to support initiatives, analyzing business needs to drive continuous improvement, and engaging in the project life cycle implementation process to ensure successful delivery. You will be tasked with investigating options, recommending courses of action, and driving the implementation of initiatives related to streamlining operations and enhancing service delivery readiness. Additionally, you will define and implement standards and best practices to foster collaboration across all areas of the organization, as well as provide resources to enhance the quality of project delivery. Furthermore, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and synthesizing policies, processes, and guidance documents to facilitate understanding and usage by the business. You will also be involved in creating and producing business reports and analyses on relevant areas of the organization and sharing them with appropriate stakeholders. Your role will require you to build strong relationships with customers, internal clients, project dependencies, and stakeholder influences to ensure effective partnership, cooperation, and trust. Additionally, you will be expected to collect and analyze data related to assigned projects/programs, independently manage key aspects of programs, and continuously monitor the effectiveness of projects/programs to make recommendations for improvement. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in a business, marketing, or computer science-related field, with a master's degree being preferred. You should have over 12 years of experience in Information Technology and Project Management, along with at least 8 years of experience in business operations or management consulting. Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and project management skills are essential for this role. Your ability to lead project teams, analyze data, evaluate processes, and identify opportunities for improvement will be crucial to your success. You should also have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and related applications, as well as excellent organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skills.
