Job Description

Senior Business Development Manager Climate Change

Key Responsibilities:

Lead business development efforts in the areas of
climate change
,
sustainability
,
carbon credits
, and
ESG services
.
Develop and execute strategies to secure national and international consulting projects.
Coordinate with internal teams to prepare customized technical proposals and presentations.
Identify and pursue tender opportunities from corporates, multilaterals, and government bodies.
Represent KBS in industry events, webinars, and stakeholder meetings.
Monitor and analyze climate policies, market trends, and global sustainability frameworks.
Nurture and grow long-term client relationships.
Track business leads and ensure successful project conversions aligned with revenue goals.
Report business forecasts and key metrics to senior management.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum
8 years
of business development experience, preferably in
climate change
,
sustainability
, or
environmental consulting
.
In-depth understanding of
carbon markets
,
GHG accounting
,
ESG frameworks
(GRI, CDP, TCFD, etc.), and global climate policy.
Proven track record in
winning and managing consulting projects
.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills.
Masters degree
in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Policy, or a related field is preferred.
