About the Student Living Business

Zolo’s Student Living division focuses on building a strong network of student-friendly homes across education hubs in India. From identifying new buildings to ensuring high-quality accommodation, this business plays a key role in Zolo’s fast expansion and brand presence.


Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Growth Associate who loves being on the ground, meeting new people, and expanding business by onboarding suitable properties for students. You will explore new localities, build strong connections with property owners, negotiate agreements, and ensure smooth property onboarding. This is a fast-paced role where you directly contribute to Zolo’s growth and can quickly move into city leadership positions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Explore and shortlist new properties suitable for student housing through field visits.
  • Evaluate buildings for capacity, location benefits, pricing, and feasibility.
  • Lead negotiations on rent, deposits, and contract terms with property owners.
  • Build trusted relationships with owners, brokers, and channel partners.
  • Work with internal teams (operations, legal, launch, sales) for smooth onboarding.
  • Monitor occupancy and ensure faster ramp-up of newly launched properties.
  • Maintain a strong property pipeline and track progress to meet monthly targets.
  • Stay updated on local rental trends and competitor offerings.
  • Represent Zolo professionally in the property and real estate market.


Skills Required:

  • Strong negotiation skills to confidently finalize deals.
  • Comfortable with field sales and daily travel within assigned areas.
  • Good understanding of local demand, market pricing, and student needs.
  • Strong communication, clear explanation of business value to owners.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and achieve targets within timelines.
  • Basic number skills to assess property revenue potential.

Who can apply?

  • Graduates in any field (MBA is a plus)
  • Minimum 2+ years in property acquisition, real estate, or field sales
  • Must have closed deals independently
  • Preferred from co-living/PG/real estate companies
