Job Description

The responsibilities for this position include conducting due diligence, drafting offer documents, liaising with clients, legal counsels, auditors, and other intermediaries, as well as regulatory authorities such as BSE, NSE, SEBI, NSDL, and CDSL. You will be required to manage proper documentation as specified by the merchant banker, advise clients on corporate governance practices and compliance with relevant Acts and guidelines, and develop policies in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI (LODR) Regulations. As for the educational qualifications, candidates with a CA/CS/MBA/CFA background are preferred. The ideal candidate should have 3-4 years of relevant experience in merchant banking and possess expertise in services like IPOs, Open Offers, Buyback, Delisting, and Right Issues. Additionally, a good understanding of the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, Income Tax laws, FEMA, etc., is necessary. Furthermore, the ability to work effectively in teams, willingness to travel for due diligence purposes, and strong communication skills, both written and oral, are considered essential for this role.,
