About the Role

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the end-to-end analysis and documentation of business requirements for payment solutions, focusing on functionality, compliance, and security.

* Translate complex business and regulatory needs into clear, actionable user stories and specifications for development teams.

* Act as the primary SME on **Indian payment compliance (RBI PAPG guidelines)**, ensuring all product features adhere to regulatory standards.

* Embed security-by-design principles into requirements, collaborating with InfoSec and Tech teams on software security protocols for payment applications.

* Manage, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts, promoting best practices in analysis and documentation.

* Utilize prototyping tools and professional **AI-assisted techniques** to model workflows and validate solutions.

* Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure seamless collaboration across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams.

* Engage with stakeholders from **RBI-licensed PA-PG entities** to align solutions with market and regulatory expectations.

Must-Have Qualifications

* 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within payments/fintech.

* Expert-level knowledge of **PG/merchant acquiring solutions, software security standards, and Indian payment regulations (RBI PAPG)**.

* Proven, hands-on experience working directly with **RBI-licensed PA-PGs** in India on compliance-centric projects.

* Demonstrated experience in **managing and mentoring a team**.

* Strong ability to document requirements for technical teams within an agile framework.

* Proficiency in prototyping tools and the professional use of AI tools for efficiency.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex compliance and technical concepts.

* Ability to work in a **Hybrid model** from our **Hyderabad** office and undertake **occasional travel**.
