Senior Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Document and manage business requirements using JIRA and Confluence.
• Break down complex epics into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize requirements based on business value and stakeholder alignment.
• Establish and maintain traceability between requirements, features, and test artifacts.
• Facilitate and manage changes to requirements across the project lifecycle.
• Participate in test plan reviews and ensure solutions meet the documented requirements.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA teams, and functional leads throughout the SDLC.
• Analyze current business processes and suggest optimization improvements.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications and documentation.
• Support Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog refinement, and demos.
• Lead UAT efforts and validate solutions with end-users.
• Perform data analysis and define KPIs to support business decision-making.
• Assist in change management, training, and user adoption activities.
• Ensure clarity and alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong experience in business process modeling and requirement gathering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Prior experience in Finance, Healthcare, or IT Services is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum or SAFe.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships.
