Senior Blockchain Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain Developer to take a leading role in the design, development, and maintenance of our Centralized Exchange (CEX) platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency protocols, and the specific architectural challenges of building a high-frequency, secure, and scalable trading platform. You will be responsible for the core blockchain infrastructure, including wallet management, transaction processing, and integration with various blockchain networks.

Key Responsibilities

• CEX Architecture:

  Design, build, and maintain the core components of our CEX, ensuring high availability, low latency, and robust security.

• Wallet Infrastructure:

  Develop and manage a secure and scalable wallet infrastructure for a wide range of cryptocurrencies. This includes hot, warm, and cold wallet solutions, and ensuring the safe storage of user funds.

• Blockchain Integration:

  Integrate new blockchain networks and tokens onto the platform, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the crypto space.

• Transaction Processing:

  Build and optimize the transaction processing engine to handle a high volume of deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers efficiently and accurately.

• Security:

  Implement industry-leading security practices to protect the platform and user assets from threats. Conduct regular security audits and work with security teams to address vulnerabilities.

• Smart Contracts:

  Develop and deploy smart contracts for various platform features, such as staking, lending, or other DeFi products integrated into the CEX.

• Performance and Scalability:

  Continuously monitor and improve the performance and scalability of the blockchain infrastructure to support a growing user base and trading volume.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with front-end developers, back-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience.

• Mentorship:

  Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience:

  5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a blockchain-focused role.

• CEX/Crypto Exchange Experience:

  Proven experience in building or contributing to a centralized cryptocurrency exchange or a similar high-frequency trading platform.

• Programming Languages:

  High proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Go, Rust, C++, Java, or Python.

• Blockchain Protocols:

  Deep understanding of the architecture and technical details of major blockchain networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum (and EVM-based chains), Solana, etc.

• Wallet Technology:

  In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency wallets, including key management, transaction signing, and address generation.

• Smart Contracts:

  Experience in writing, testing, and deploying smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, or a similar language.

• Databases:

  Strong experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).

• APIs:

  Experience in designing and consuming RESTful and WebSocket APIs.

• Security Mindset:

  A strong understanding of blockchain security principles and best practices for securing a CEX platform.

• Problem-Solving:

  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-frequency trading (HFT) systems and low-latency architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cryptographic principles and libraries.
• Understanding of financial market data structures and trading concepts.
• Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements in the cryptocurrency space.
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
