Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a technically strong and solution-oriented Senior Backend Engineer to join our backend team in Hyderabad. This is an onsite role suited for someone with deep technical expertise, especially in backend frameworks, and a passion for clean, scalable systems. While prior managerial experience is appreciated, it’s not mandatory — we're open to grooming the right candidate into a team leadership role. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using NestJS, Python, and Node.js Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth project delivery Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to long-term tech strategy Optimize the performance and scalability of backend systems Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes Review code, mentor junior developers, and ensure best coding practices Contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery schedules Must-Have Qualifications 4+ years of experience in backend development Strong experience with at least two of the following: NestJS, Python, Node.js Solid understanding of JavaScript and asynchronous programming Familiarity with RESTful API design and database integration Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Good communication and collaboration abilities Good-to-Have Skills Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure Prior experience mentoring or leading a team Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) What We’re Looking For A proactive engineer who can take ownership of systems and features Someone with strong fundamentals and eagerness to grow into a leadership role Comfortable working from our Hyderabad office in IST business hours Show more Show less
