Senior Azure Architect

.We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Architect to design and deliver cutting-edge cloud solutions across infrastructure, platform, and application layers. In this role, you'll drive complex Azure migration projects, establish secure and scalable architectures, and optimize performance and cost efficiency across enterprise environments. Working in a collaborative, agile, and cross-functional team, you will engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust, compliant cloud designs. Accountabilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of Azure architectures, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security
- Build Azure landing zones aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework, implementing governance, policies, and RBAC structures
- Plan and execute cloud migration projects, including on-prem to Azure transitions, application modernization, and identity migrations
- Integrate business-critical applications into Azure environments while ensuring operational continuity and stable networking
- Produce technical documentation such as HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans, and handover materials
- Use Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform) for automated and repeatable deployments
- Apply Zero Trust principles and implement strong security measures across Defender, Conditional Access, and RBAC
- Design and manage hybrid connectivity solutions including VPN, ExpressRoute, private endpoints, and DNS configurations
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity using Azure Site Recovery, Backup, and Veeam
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure architecture quality, timelines, and delivery success
- Lead technical workshops and architecture reviews with clients, providing expert consultancy and problem-solving support
Requirements
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Security Engineer Associate
- Proven experience delivering secure and scalable Azure solutions, including large-scale migration and modernization projects
- Strong understanding of hybrid and cloud-native Active Directory environments
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and automation with PowerShell
- Deep knowledge of Azure governance, cost optimization, and Zero Trust security models
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, FSLogix, and related performance tuning
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Autopilot)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative and solution-oriented approach
- Experience working in a consulting or Managed Services environment
- Strong English skills, both written and verbal
- Based in Portugal or Brazil (remote position)
Nice to have:
- Experience with tenant-to-tenant migrations, multi-subscription designs, or Zero Trust implementations
- Knowledge of FinOps, policy-as-code, AKS, or serverless architectures
- Exposure to pre-sales activities such as scoping, estimations, or proposals
