Job Description

Must have hands on experience as a Cloud/AWS Data Engineer.
Must have very good communication skill and be able to confidently confront customer discussions independently.
Must have strong debugging, problem-solving, reasoning and analytical skills
Must have hands-on experience on AWS ETL/Data stack (AWS S3, Athena, EMR, Aurora MySQL, Glue etc.) and must have used AWS SDK
Must have experience in data pipelines, SQL, Databases/RDBMS, MySQL, JDBC etc.
Must be familiar with ETL, understand ETL mappings, schedulers, batch jobs and have experience in data transformations and should be able to understand data migration problems
Should have hands-on experience in PL/SQL and should be able to build complex queries and do SQL Query Performance Optimization
Must have experience in Data Modeling and be able to design and create database tables for a given requirement.
Must have programming language experience and willingness to learn new programming languages (Python/Scala).
Experience in Scala & Apache Spark (Spark jobs in Scala, Spark SQL, DataFrames) will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Apache Airflow will be an added advantage.
Experience with Database Transaction Management, Caching Mechanism/Framework, RESTful Services will be an added advantage.
Experience working in Agile software development methodology and Jira as the Agile tool will be an added advantage.
