Job Description: The Sr. Engineer SQA is a critical role in the Digital technology team and predominantly works on both manual and automation testing by writing various test scripts. Does not believe in reinventing the wheel, instead leveraging the best components that are readily available. Primary Responsibilities: Execute programs and automated scripts for testing purposes Develop automation scripts to align with acceptance criteria Functional test new products and regression test existing products during each QA release cycle Assist with the testing, documenting, defect tracking and information flow during each QA cycle Assist with development of new automation tools and maintaining existing automation tools Gain proficient knowledge of system functionality Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement to help streamline the development life cycle Participate in Scrum ceremonies and discuss about the defects with details with the development team Qualification and Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in software domain At least 2 years of Java programming experience At least 2 years of experience creating and maintaining test tooling At least 2 years of experience with QA or performance engineering At least 2 years of experience testing cloud native software B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science/IT or related field. Must have Technical Skills: Strong AWS experience is a must Exposure to CI/CD tooling, especially Circle CI Min 3 years+ of working experience with Java Java script/Typescript with Selenium TestNG. Hands-on experience in Web application, Cloud app test automations. Hands on experience with tools such as JIRA / Bitbucket / Circle CI / Sonar Cloud / AWS serverless technologies Proficient in GQL/ REST APIs and DB queries Test Automation. Hands-On experience in SQL DB and MongoDB queries. Show more Show less
