Senior Audit Manager

We are hiring for a Senior Audit Manager for a leading Accounting and Audit firm with PAN India presence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in planning audit engagements, including understanding the client's business, identifying risks, and developing audit plans.
• Manage the audit team and audit engagement in accordance with the established audit program and guidelines.
• Gather and evaluate audit evidence and document findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Review and analyze financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Maintain effective communication with clients to understand their financial reporting processes and address any issues or concerns.
• Co-ordinate with the Partners to ensure all audits are being managed and executed in a time bound and efficient manner
• Provide exceptional client service by delivering timely and accurate audit reports and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with audit team members, sharing knowledge and contributing to the overall success of the audit engagement.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members as needed.
• Ensure that all audit work papers and documentation meet the firm's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Professional certification of CA
• 10-15 years of experience in statutory auditing or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
