Senior Architect

Experience: 14 - 15 years

The overall responsibility of this role is to facilitate the full lifecycle of a service at Virtusa include building transition and run of IT service linesDrive complex IT projects infra support service desk Delivering these projects on time within budget and within scopeCoordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are addressedSet deadlines assigns responsibilities monitors and summarize project progressPrepare reports for upper management regarding project statusEnsure project methodologies project delivery processes and implementation management processes are followed This includes managing and driving

• Project Schedule
• Risk and Issue Management
• Scope Change Management
• Manage the project budget including understanding and validating estimates as well as managing project resources effectively
  

Manage global team of 15 individuals
Scope and present new statements of work as neededMentor team members as their reporting managerProvide governance for ongoing service delivery

• Act as escalation point for critical issues
• Predict staffing needs
• Review and presentation of delivery metrics
  

Ensure operational processes and procedures are met

Required Skills

Education Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field and or equivalent work experienceITIL v4 certification7 10 years progressive management experience including medium to large scale projects and IT service deliveryUnderstanding of ITIL frameworkBasic understanding of IT technologiesExperience managing an Infrastructure or customer-facing support ie Service DeskExperience working with technology vendorsProficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerpointExcellent verbal written and presentation skillsProven success in managing IT projectsAbility to handle multiple projects and assignmentsProven ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environmentNice to Have SkillsExperience with AWS ConnectPMP certificationAgile SCRUM Master certificationInfosec experienceRelated infrastructure network virtualization certification.
