Job Description

As a Deal Strategy Senior Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in structuring deals, providing pricing support, and assessing risks for our Commercial business across various regions. Your contributions will also involve assisting in the development of contracts and product solutions tailored to meet specific customer requirements, as well as contributing to the growth of the Deal Strategy function internally. **Responsibilities:** - Analyze and assess deal pricing requests using a combination of quantitative and qualitative measures - Make pricing approval decisions and maintain effective communication with sales representatives and managers, ensuring timely responses and compliance - Manage daily quote approvals, non-standard deal requirements, and deal review cycles - Challenge existing practices by recommending strategies that lead to price optimization and reduced discounts - Create sales enablement materials to educate Sales teams on best practices for product pricing and positioning - Build cross-functional relationships to gain insights into products, competition, and market dynamics - Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to improve contract terms and facilitate successful deal closures - Demonstrate a deep understanding of customers and their usage of Salesforce products - Uphold compliance with internal controls - Assist in developing Professional Services deal reviews and precise risk profiles with detailed supporting KPIs and risk mitigation strategies - Support sales teams by offering guidance on policies, processes, risk identification, and mitigation techniques - Document findings, risks, and key financial details post-deal review, providing recommendations for deal approval - Conduct project/engagement reviews to evaluate progress, risks, required interventions, and customer satisfaction - Share insights and contribute to continuous improvement in deal development, enhancing the sales feedback loop - Create easily understandable materials for stakeholders and executives, presenting actionable insights and recommendations to improve the services risk management strategy - Participate in internal projects or infrastructure development initiatives as needed **Required Skills/Experience:** - 7+ years of professional work experience - Strong analytical background with expertise in problem-solving, profitability analysis, and pricing strategy - Experience in managing pricing approvals and collaborating with sales teams in a deal desk or commercial-selling capacity - Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly across various organizational levels - Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) - Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively to achieve results - Exceptional attention to detail and capability to work in high-pressure environments - Hands-on approach with a readiness to identify areas for improvement and suggest necessary changes - Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced business setting **Desired Skills/Experience:** - Preferred experience in pricing strategy, sales financial analysis, consulting, professional services risk review, and procurement, with expertise in structuring pricing for mid-to-large contracts,
