Position: Senior AI Engineer

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: 5 to 8 Years (minimum 3 years in Django, AI/ML, LLM retraining with RAG, and product development)

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer who will play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling our products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python/Django framework, API development, PostgreSQL, AI/ML, retraining of open-source LLM models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and product lifecycle management. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on coding to build innovative, high-performance solutions that leverage AI/ML and LLMs in real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities :

· Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python/Django.

· Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integration services.

· Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.

· Apply AI/ML techniques and models to enhance product features and decision-making.

· Retrain and fine-tune open-source LLM models (Llama, Mistral, Falcon, etc.) for domain-specific applications.

· Implement and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for LLM applications.

· Drive end-to-end product development - from requirement gathering to deployment.

· Architect and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

· Work closely with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery.

· Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in coding, design, and architecture.

· Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

· Stay updated with emerging technologies (AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, Cloud, DevOps) and suggest improvements to enhance product performance.

Required Skills & Expertise :

· Python, Django Framework (expert level)

· Strong experience in API design, integration, and security

· Hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and queries

· Proven experience in AI/ML development – model training, deployment, and optimization

· Experience in retraining and fine-tuning open-source LLM models (HuggingFace, PEFT, LoRA, etc.)

· Practical knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.)

· Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.)

· Experience in product development lifecycle (from MVP to scaling)

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)

· Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills

· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications :

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, BE, or related field.
