Job Summary:

The Senior Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, offering personalized counselling, and achieving enrollment targets. This role demands excellent communication, leadership, and sales skills, along with a deep understanding of educational offerings and student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel prospective students and their families regarding courses, career paths, and admission procedures.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, follow-up with leads, and maintain CRM records accurately.
• Understand student requirements and guide them through the entire admission journey—from initial enquiry to enrollment.
• Drive admissions by achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
• Conduct campus tours, virtual sessions, and one-on-one meetings with leads and walk-ins.
• Mentor and support junior counsellors in closing leads and improving their performance.
• Maintain updated knowledge of all programs, scholarships, eligibility criteria, and key selling points.
• Coordinate with the marketing team for lead nurturing campaigns and events.
• Submit regular reports on admissions pipeline and target status.
• Support operational activities during admission peak seasons and events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in Business, Education, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or educational sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Goal-oriented with a proven track record in achieving targets.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in EdTech or higher education institutions.
• Familiarity with national and international education systems.
• Multilingual abilities (if applicable to the region).
