Senior Admissions Counselor

The role involves guiding students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad by understanding their goals, interests, and academic background. You will provide end-to-end counselling on admission procedures, visa processes, immigration regulations, and university requirements. Additionally, addressing challenges faced by students in the admission process and offering suitable solutions will be a key responsibility. You will be responsible for assessing student profiles and suggesting suitable universities/programs based on their academic, financial, and career aspirations. Ensuring accurate and detailed information is shared about university offerings and eligibility requirements is crucial for this role. Contributing to the recruitment of students interested in studying abroad by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, meeting recruitment targets, and ensuring high levels of student satisfaction will be part of your responsibilities. Active engagement on social media platforms to educate and inform prospective students about overseas education opportunities is essential. Creating and sharing informative content about admissions, scholarships, visa updates, and other relevant topics will also be expected. Efficiently using the company's CRM system to manage student records, track progress, and ensure seamless communication is a key aspect of the role. Maintaining accurate and updated data for reporting and follow-ups is vital for the smooth operation of the counselling process. Staying informed about changes in admission procedures, visa policies, immigration rules, and building a strong knowledge base about partnered universities and their programs is necessary to provide up-to-date guidance to students. Representing the company in international visits to partnered universities and events to strengthen business relationships will provide an opportunity for travel and networking. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors/Masters degree in any discipline, preferably related to education or counselling. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in overseas education counselling or a similar role. - Strong understanding of admissions, visa procedures, and immigration regulations. - Proficiency in profile-based university shortlisting. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in CRM applications and basic knowledge of social media marketing. - Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work under minimal supervision.
