Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant Job Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for handling the company’s full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations. The role requires strong expertise in Tally Prime, along with experience in general accounting, taxation, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally Prime. Prepare and review financial statements, ledgers, and bank reconciliations. Handle accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processing. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual returns as per regulations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Support audit processes and provide necessary documentation. Implement and monitor internal controls to maintain data accuracy. Guide and support junior accountants in accounting procedures. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter / M.Com preferred). Minimum 4–7 years of experience in accounting. Proficiency in Tally Prime is compulsory. Knowledge of MS Excel and basic ERP/accounting principles. Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and financial reporting standards. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Work Environment: Office-based role, full-time. May require extended hours during month-end or audit periods.
