Senior Accountant

We are looking for a highly skilled and dependable Senior Accountant to oversee the company’s accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of accounting principles, hands-on experience with Tally, Excel, and financial reporting, and the ability to guide junior staff while maintaining compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management summaries
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, ensuring timely filing and documentation
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor ledgers, and inter-company transactions
• Supervise invoice generation, quotations, billing, and follow-up for payments
• Manage payroll accounting, employee reimbursements, and expense control
• Support in budget preparation, cost analysis, and financial forecasting
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams during audits and reviews
• Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial data

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Proven experience (typically 3–5+ years) in accounting or finance roles
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
• In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to lead and mentor junior accountants
• Excellent communication and coordination skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
