Senior Accountant

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial planning and analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets
• Manage and reconcile ledgers, bank accounts, and vendor statements
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Review and approve accounting entries, invoices, and payments
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities when required

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• 4–7 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Indian GAAP) and taxation (GST, TDS)
• Proficiency in accounting software like Tally ERP, Zoho Books, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
