Role Overview:We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team at Mailercloud. The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Location:Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala .We are also open to candidates from nearby districts or anywhere in Kerala, if they are willing to work from our office in Cyberpark, Calicut.

Job Role & Responsibilities:The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the entire finance and accounts function of our SAAS company. This includes:

• Filing and managing GST returns, including for export of services
• Handling TDS returns, vendor payments, and statutory deductions
• Managing payroll and employee expense claims
• Preparing monthly financial reports
• Managing international transactions (FIRC, 15CA/15CB, export invoicing)
• Working with tools like Zoho Books, Tally, Excel
• Bank reconciliation and audit support
• Coordinating with our external CA and ensuring all compliances (ROC, income tax, etc)

Requirements:

• Strong experience with GST, TDS, payroll, and compliance
• Comfortable using Zoho Books / Tally / Excel
• Should know how to manage international transactions and documentation
• Able to work independently, without day-to-day supervision
• Good communication skills and team attitude

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience
• Qualification: M.Com / B.Com / MBA Finance / CA-Inter
• Candidates from any industry (not just IT) are acceptable — especially if they’ve handled GST and statutory filings.

Salary Bracket:

• ₹40,000 to ₹60,000 per month
• Based on experience and current CTC
