Senior Accountant Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead month-end processes, support audits, and provide guidance to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Must have the knowlegde of taxation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Support internal controls and participate in process improvements.
• Mentor and guide junior accountants or finance team members.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and other departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• Minimum [5+] years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. MCS)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
