Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Pune. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role also involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing support during audits. The Senior Accountant will also be expected to implement and maintain internal controls and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in general accounting practices and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills and experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Ability to implement and maintain internal controls
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
