Senior Accountant

📍 Location: Ludhiana (On-site)

⏳ Hiring Type: 3-month probationary engagement (with confirmation based on mutual fit)

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who is sharp, practical, and grounded in accounting fundamentals. This role requires someone who can think through problems logically, apply first principles, and operate confidently in a fast-moving manufacturing and export environment.

This is not a clerical role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, decisive, and comfortable engaging in constructive, logic-driven discussions with senior management on accounting processes and controls.

• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, MIS, and reconciliations
• Support senior accountants and management with finance-related analysis
• Handle GST and TDS documentation, filings, and compliance support
• Manage cheque preparation and related documentation
• Maintain accurate stock records for Finished Goods and packing materials using Excel
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth accounting operations
• Identify inconsistencies, gaps, or inefficiencies in accounting processes and suggest improvements

• Strong proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel (mandatory)
• Solid foundation in Financial Statements preparation and analysis
• High attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices
• Strong analytical skills with a clear understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and learn quickly
• Prior experience in manufacturing, trading, or export-oriented companies preferred
