Job Opening: Senior Accountant
Location: Bansal Infraprojects Pvt. Ltd., Raipur, Chhattisgarh

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Budgeting & ForecastingDevelop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Accounts ManagementOversee accounts payable and receivable processes.Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and ledgers.
• Compliance & AuditingEnsure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax).Coordinate with external auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• General Ledger OversightMaintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.Perform periodic closing and account reconciliations.
• Team Supervision & DevelopmentLead a team of junior accountants; provide training and mentorship.Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Process ImprovementImplement internal controls and improve accounting processes for efficiency.Leverage ERP/accounting systems for automation and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven track record in core accounting functions in a corporate or mid-sized firm.
• Deep understanding of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and applicable tax laws.
• Experience using accounting software such as Tally ERP, SAP, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
• Exposure to handling audits, finalization of accounts, and working with external consultants.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Preferred: Experience in construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors.
