About the role
1. Continuously understand customers, markets, competition in respective geographies to develop products in the relevant product segments towards business growth and profitability
2. Managing the life cycle of the products through Long term product planning
3. Deliver New Product achieving Q,C,D targets as per plan
4. Deliver Upgrades and Refreshes to enhance customer delight with QCD targets
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for Business objectives (Customer delight, New product volume and profitability) in the respective segment
2. Understand the customer needs, lifestyle trends and identify latent needs of the customers and create rolling product plan
3. Monitor the industry trends in the respective markets with respect to technology and regulation
Own engagement with customers continuously, work to identify customer needs into requirements and execution plans with multiple cross functional teams, track progress towards NPD goals, and report status to leadership.
4. Time to market with Quality, Cost & Volume targets
5. Continuous Process improvements & Standardize
6. Be the interface between the product owners and the development team, thoroughly understanding the product, helping to define the scope, and driving the evaluation of appropriate technical solutions to meet the business requirements
7. Deliver hit products - New products, Upgrades. Refresh - meeting volume and profitability targets
8. Help make the right feature on time without compromising customer experience and business relevance
9. Engage with other teams in the company, evangelizing the team and your project, building relationships and helping identify existing system and technologies that can be leveraged to deliver on our goal
10. Long term Product plan for the segment
11. Deliver new product as per plan and achieve QCD targets
12. Deliver upgrade, variants & refresh as per plan
13. Achieve profitability (Gross contribution & NPV)
14. Product competitiveness and excitement of the respective customer segment
