                                Job Summary:
The Site Security Officer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the overall security and safety of all company project sites, offices, and related properties. This role ensures that security protocols are implemented effectively, guards are well-deployed, and all assets, materials, and personnel are protected against theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
The officer will coordinate between the Admin/HR department, project managers, and external security agencies to ensure 24x7 site safety and compliance.
  
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall Security Management
Supervise and monitor all security activities across company sites and offices.
Ensure deployment of adequate security guards at all entry/exit gates, store areas, and key points.
Conduct surprise checks at sites to ensure guards are alert and performing duties properly.
Enforce company security policies and site safety protocols.
2. Material & Asset Protection
Ensure all construction materials, equipment, and company property are secured properly.
Cross-check material gate passes with store in-charge for accurate movement.
Prevent unauthorized removal or misuse of company materials.
Coordinate with stores and site engineers for proper storage security.
3. Surveillance & Patrolling
Conduct routine and random patrolling of project premises (day and night).
Monitor CCTV systems, lighting, and fencing for functionality and security coverage.
Identify potential risk areas and suggest improvements to Admin/Management.
4. Emergency Handling & Incident Reporting
Respond immediately to fire, theft, accident, or dispute situations.
Prepare and submit incident/accident reports with factual details and corrective actions.
Assist during emergency evacuations or safety drills.
Liaise with local authorities (police, fire department) when required.
 
5. Coordination with Security Vendor & Guards
Supervise outsourced security agency staff and ensure service quality.
Prepare and verify guard duty rosters and attendance records.
Report guard absenteeism or performance issues to Admin/HR.
Ensure guards are in proper uniform and equipped with ID cards, whistle, torch, and register.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily reports, visitor logs, and incident registers from all sites.
Submit weekly security status updates to the Admin/HR department.
Record shift handovers and ensure proper documentation of key events.
7. Compliance & Discipline
Ensure all security operations comply with company safety and HR policies.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct among all site guards.
Report any site-level conflicts, disputes, or indiscipline immediately.
  
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 12th Pass (Graduate preferred).
Security Training Certificate or Ex-Serviceman background preferred.
3–7 years of experience in industrial security operations.
Strong leadership and supervision skills.
Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and security protocols.
Good communication skills in Hindi, Gujarati, and basic English.
Physically fit, alert, and capable of handling emergencies.  
Working Conditions:
Will be required to visit and supervise multiple project sites.
Must be available for rotational and night shifts as per site requirements.
Should be ready for emergency deployment or call duty.
Frequent travel between sites within the company’s operational area.
