Security Officer

Purpose/Objective

The Security Incharge at Adani in Mundra (Gujarat) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all security operations within the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 19 years of experience in security management, with a proven track record of implementing security protocols, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks effectively. Key Responsibilities of Role

- Developing, implementing, and managing security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and security of the manufacturing facility - Leading and supervising a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management - Conducting regular security risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate risks - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations - Monitoring security operations, including CCTV surveillance, access control, and alarm systems - Investigating security incidents, preparing reports, and recommending preventive actions - Managing relationships with external security agencies and law enforcement authorities - Participating in emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness for any security threats

Technical Competencies

•Proficiency in security operations and risk management,•Knowledge of relevant security laws, regulations, and industry standards,•Experience with security technology systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems,Emergency response planning and crisis management skills

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field - Additional certifications in security management or law enforcement are a plus - Any Degree.
