Security Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and vigilant Security Manager to oversee and manage the entire security operations of our jewellery manufacturing unit. The role requires ensuring the safety of employees, safeguarding precious materials (gold, diamonds, gemstones), preventing theft or pilferage, enforcing discipline, and maintaining high-security standards as per industry protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, SOPs, and procedures for the manufacturing unit.
• Supervise and manage security staff, CCTV operators, and access control systems.
• Ensure round-the-clock vigilance for safeguarding raw materials, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished jewellery.
• Monitor and analyze CCTV, biometrics, and visitor management systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular security audits, mock drills, and surprise inspections.
• Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and government authorities when required.
• Oversee transport security for the movement of jewellery, raw materials, and cash.
• Conduct background verification for all employees, contractors, and vendors entering the premises.
• Train security staff in emergency response, crisis management, and theft prevention.
• Investigate and prepare reports on any security breaches, incidents, or losses.
• Ensure strict compliance with statutory requirements and insurance norms.

• Knowledge of modern security technologies (CCTV, biometric systems, access control, alarms, RFID, GPS tracking).

• Ability to handle pressure, conflicts, and crisis situations effectively.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate / Ex-Serviceman (preferred from Army / Police / Paramilitary background).
• 8–12 years of experience in security management, with at least 3–5 years in jewellery / bullion / high-value manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record in managing large security teams and sensitive operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
