Job Summary:

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive safety and security protocols for executive residences. This role ensures the protection of residents, staff, guests, property, and assets while maintaining a discreet and professional security presence. The Security Manager develops and enforces policies, leads the security team, and coordinates with local authorities and emergency services when necessary.


Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations

  • Design, implement, and monitor security strategies tailored to the needs of high-profile residents.
  • Supervise all daily security operations including access control, surveillance, incident response, and patrolling.
  • Ensure that all entrances, exits, and common areas are secure and monitored at all times.
  • Maintain strict protocols for visitor management, deliveries, and parking access.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage a professional residential security team.
  • Schedule shifts, monitor performance, and conduct regular training in emergency response, conflict resolution, and guest interaction.
  • Enforce a professional code of conduct and appearance for all security staff.

Crisis Management & Emergency Response

  • Develop emergency preparedness and evacuation plans for residents and staff.
  • Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical, fire, or security threats.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and security consultants as needed.


Technology & Surveillance

  • Oversee installation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and electronic access controls.
  • Conduct regular system checks and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor surveillance footage and investigate irregular activities.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local security regulations, fire safety laws, and privacy requirements.
  • Maintain detailed incident logs and security reports.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of the property.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or related field experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in security management, preferably in luxury residential or VIP environments.
  • Prior law enforcement, military, or private security background a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of residential security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Proficient in security technology systems and surveillance equipment.
