Security Architect – ServiceNow GRC

Must-Have Skills:

ServiceNow Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

Good-to-Have Skills:

Security Architecture Design

Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years

Education:

15 years of full-time education

Coimbatore

Role Overview

The Security Architect will define and document cloud security frameworks and ensure alignment with business requirements and performance goals. The role includes implementing security controls and supporting the transition to security-managed operations.

Summary

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation, with exposure to at least one GRC or SecOps module such as Policy & Compliance, Risk, Audit, BCM, or VRM. Certifications like CSA, CIS-RCI, CIS-VR, CIS-SIR, or CIS-VRM are an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution and support team management activities
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and define security requirements
  • Oversee implementation, documentation, and delivery of security solutions
  • Support recruitment, mentoring, and training within the team
  • Prepare technical designs and effort estimates for proposals
  • Stay updated on new technologies and ServiceNow capabilities

Professional & Technical Skills

  • Experience implementing at least one ServiceNow GRC module
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development and configuration
  • Understanding of GRC concepts: controls, audits, business continuity, risk assessments
  • Familiarity with ITIL and Agile/Scrum practices
  • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow GRC and SecOps product lines

Professional Attributes

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Capable of taking on roles such as Business Analyst, Architect, or Technical Lead
  • Strong communication and customer interaction skills
  • Adaptive, proactive, and supportive in assisting team members
