1. Minimize the downtime 1.1 Major Breakdown analysis and control 1.2 Implementation of improvement plan in maintenance system Carrying out up gradation of equipment 1.3 Effective implementation of preventive maintenance plan 1.4 Monitoring the documentation and SAP implementation for breakdown and preventive maintenance. 2. Reduction of maintenance cost 2.1 Analysis of repetitive failure of equipments and taking the corrective action to eliminate the failure, thus to reduce the cost, 2.2 Plan for proper utilization of spare parts of the equipment. 2.3 Arranging to repair defective spares. 3. Industrial Safety 3.1 Proper Housekeeping of dept, mechanical systems and spares as per OHSASstandard. 3.2 Ensuring safe working environment and practices as per OHSAS standard. 3.3 Reporting the unsafe conditions and incidents and taking corrective action against recurrence. 3.4 Ensuring that all activities are carried out as per safety rules and procedures. 3.5 Participating in safety meetings and working to close all safety observations / findings. 3.6 Scrap / waste management. 4. Maximizing the machine uptime 4.1 Preparing the yearly schedule. 4.2 Co-ordinate with Operation/Quality dept for machine availability to have in time preventive maintenance of all equipments. 4.3 Analyze the breakdown due to failure in preventive maintenance and taking corrective action for the same. 4.4 Documentations of prev maintenance system as per SOP (maintenance) 4.5 In-house repairing and overhauling of spares of gear boxes, Mechanical parts which are provided by repair in charge. 4.6 Monitoring of equipment parts temperature and power packs oil level and controls during preventive maintenance. 4.7 Co-ordinate with workshop and Mech maintenance for fabrication related jobs. 5. Shut down Implementation 5.1 Co-ordinate with external service vendors for shut down and repairing jobs during their visit. 5.2 Support to planning engineer for RGP and NRGP and arranging to send to store and receive from store with complete documentation. 5.3 Issuing / arranging mechanical spares required for prev Maint and shutdown job. 5.4 Implement of internal projects as per schedule as assigned HOD mechanical. 5.5 Co-ordination with workshop and Elect maintenance for modification related jobs. 6. People management 6.1 Imparting on job training to Engineer/Fitters. 6.2 Monitoring in day to day activities. 7. System Implementation/Improvement 7.1 Effective implementation of SAP system. 7.2 Ensure to follow QMS, OHSAS. 7.3 Adherence to follow SOP implementation. 7.4 Support to engineer for Modification to achieve zero B/D project.
