Required Experience: 15 - 20 Years, Working exposure to DuPont Safety Management systems will be considered an added advantage.
Purpose of the role
The Principal Program Manager - Occupational Health and Safety for India Plants & Offices is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees and operations across multiple locations in India. This position adds unique value by establishing and implementing robust occupational health and safety programs, fostering a culture of safety, and minimizing workplace incidents and risks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute occupational health and safety strategies and programs for India plants and offices.
- Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety regulations and standards.
- Lead and manage health and safety teams across locations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance, incidents, and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety into business operations.
- Develop and execute health and safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Ensure effective crisis management and response for health and safety incidents.
- Identify and implement opportunities for health and safety improvements and innovations.
- Stay updated on emerging health and safety best practices and regulatory changes.
