Role Description

This is a full-time role for a search engine optimization specialist based on-site in Chennai. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, building and managing backlinks, analyzing web analytics, and optimizing on-page SEO elements. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing SEO strategies, tracking and reporting on SEO performance, and collaborating with the content and marketing teams to enhance search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.

• Conduct

  keyword research

  to identify high-impact opportunities using tools like Ahrefs and Google Analytics
• Implement

  on-page SEO

  enhancements—meta tags, internal links, structured content
• Develop and execute a

  content strategy

  focused on helpful, relevant blog posts that resonate with our audience
• Perform

  technical SEO

  audits and fixes using tools like Screaming Frog and Google Search Console
• Build

  high-quality backlinks

  and manage off-page SEO initiatives
• Collaborate with writers, developers, and marketing teams to elevate visibility and performance
• Apply

  basic HTML/CSS

  to optimize page structure and resolve common technical issues
