Role Description

Technical SEO

• Run technical audits and fix issues impacting crawlability, indexing, and performance
• Improve Core Web Vitals, site speed, mobile usability, and overall UX signals
• Resolve problems like duplicate content, redirect chains, broken links, canonical errors, and thin pages
• Implement/optimize schema, internal linking, sitemaps, robots.txt, and URL structure
• Work in WordPress to apply fixes directly or coordinate with dev when needed

Off-Page SEO

• Build and execute off-page/link-building strategies across multiple client accounts
• Acquire high-quality backlinks through white-hat outreach, guest posts, niche edits, partnerships, and digital PR
• Perform competitor backlink analysis and link gap research
• Monitor backlink profiles, remove/disavow toxic links, and track authority growth
• Provide monthly reporting on technical improvements + link performance and ranking impact

What we’re looking for:

• 3–5+ years of proven SEO experience with strong technical + off-page results
• Deep knowledge of Google guidelines, ranking factors, and backlink quality standards
• Skilled in tools like

  Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, Search Console, PageSpeed Insights

• Comfortable working in WordPress (Elementor/Divi/Avada a plus)
• Strong outreach writing, communication, and follow-through
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple SEO campaigns at once

Bonus points:

• Experience with U.S. local SEO or service-area businesses
• Digital PR outreach (HARO/Connectively, Qwoted, etc.)
• Familiarity with Looker Studio reporting and KPI dashboards

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with

  technical SEO and off-page/link building

  responsibilities
• Proven success improving rankings through

  site health fixes and authority growth

• Strong understanding of

  crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals

• Experience performing technical audits and implementing fixes (or clearly documenting fixes for dev teams)
• Advanced knowledge of backlink quality, anchor strategy, and

  white-hat outreach

• Skilled with SEO tools such as

  Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix

• Ability to identify toxic links and execute clean-up/disavow processes properly
• Comfortable working in

  WordPress

  and coordinating with designers/developers when needed
• Strong English communication skills, especially for outreach and reporting
• Excellent organization and time management; able to handle

  multiple client campaigns
