Job Summary

SEO Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies for website and product listings (Shopify-based).
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Optimize on-page elements including metadata, content structure, URLs, internal linking, and product schema.
• Manage off-page SEO activities such as backlink acquisition, blogger outreach, and directory submissions.
• Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and GA4.
• Perform regular SEO audits and technical SEO checks (e.g., site speed, crawl errors, mobile usability).
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
• Track KPIs such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, bounce rate, CTR, and conversion rates.
• Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience in SEO (preferably in the D2C/eCommerce industry).
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Strong understanding of Shopify SEO best practices.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics and technical SEO.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience with content strategy and SEO-driven blog optimization is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in the health and wellness domain is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with basic CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) principles.
