Job Title: SEO Executive (EdTech Experience Required)

About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced SEO Executive with strong EdTech domain expertise to drive organic traffic, student acquisition, and lead generation through data-driven SEO strategies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SEO funnel optimization, event tracking, and seasonal SEO planning for the admissions cycle.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic visibility, website traffic, and lead generation.
● Have experience with AI & LLM-driven search trends and apply emerging AI search optimization techniques to maintain visibility in AI-powered search results.
● Conduct keyword research aligned with EdTech search trends, course categories, and academic seasons.
● Optimize program pages, course listings, blogs, and landing pages to improve rankings and conversion.
● Plan and execute seasonal SEO campaigns aligned with academic calendars, admissions cycles, and peak enrollment periods.
● Perform technical SEO audits, analyze crawling/indexing issues, and collaborate with dev teams for fixes.
● Use Google Analytics, GA4, Google Search Console, GTM to track performance, set up event tracking, and monitor user behavior.
● Create and analyze funnels and user journeys to boost conversions and reduce drop-offs.
● Improve Core Web Vitals, internal linking, metadata, schema, sitemaps, and site structure.
● Build and manage high-quality backlinks through outreach and content collaboration.
● Collaborate closely with content, design, product, and admissions teams to align SEO with business goals.
● Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports on traffic, rankings, leads, conversions, and funnel insights.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, with proven education sector exposure. Experience in organic lead generation, SEO-driven funnels, and conversion rate improvements. Strong proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, GTM, event tracking & funnel analysis. Proven ability to execute seasonal SEO strategies based on admissions cycles and academic timelines. Excellent knowledge of on-page, off-page & technical SEO, including schema and CWV. Skilled with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Keyword Planner, Looker Studio. Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data insights into actionable SEO strategies.
Good to Have Experience working with WordPress or similar CMS. Exposure to local SEO strategies for colleges/universities. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
