SDE-2 (Full-Stack Engineer) -

Role Overview

As an SDE-2 (Full-Stack Engineer) at Mechademy, you will:

• design, build, and opTImize core product modules spanning both frontend and backend systems.
• work closely with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and ML teams to create intuiTIve, performant, and
  

reliable experiences for internal and customer-facing tools — including diagnosTIc dashboards, datavisualizaTIon systems, and configuraTIon interfaces.This role is ideal for engineers who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and excited to build interfaces and APIs that bringAI insights directly to industrial decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitIes

• Full-Stack Product Development
• Build and maintain responsive, performant web applications using React (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Design and implement REST APIs and backend services using Python (Django, Django REST Framework).
• Integrate ML and AI-driven workflows into user-facing products in collaboratIon with platform teams.
• Own feature delivery end-to-end — from scoping to deployment and monitoring.
• Architecture & Quality
• Write modular, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Ensure backend scalability, security, and performance.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews to maintain technical excellence.
• Contribute to architecture and infrastructure decisions for new feature development.
• Understand and apply concurrency concepts — mul%threading, mul%processing, and asynchronous
  

execu%on.

• CollaboratIon & Impact
• Partner with Product and Design teams to translate business requirements into delighEul user
  

experiences.

• Work with Data and ML engineers to surface analytIcs, diagnostIcs, and prescriptIve insights in the product
  

UI.

• Collaborate on emerging AI-assisted user experiences and intelligent automatIon within the platform.
• Troubleshoot productIon issues, ensuring stability and high availability of critIcal services.
  

Experience & Attributes

• 4–7 years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering roles.
• Proven track record in system design, concurrency, and high-throughput architectures.
• Proven ability to ship high-quality software in an agile environment.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, REST architecture, and data modeling.
• Passion for building intuitive user experiences and scalable APIs.
• Strong sense of ownership, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
• Curiosity about AI-driven development and emerging automation frameworks.
• Excellent communicator — comfortable working with cross-functional and remote teams.
  

QualificatIons

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related
  

engineering discipline.

• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems architecture.
