Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master at GlobalLogic, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and supporting the delivery process for 3 teams consisting of 12 to 15 members each. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing 3 teams to ensure successful delivery - Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies such as planning, retrospectives, daily standups, etc. - Actively participating in grooming sessions - Establishing and executing clear communications across all team members - Maintaining active communication with the US-based customer - Escalating any potential issues to the Project Manager and the customer's counter-partner - Acting as an active problem-solver and helping the team achieve their goals - Resolving impediments and shielding the development team from distractions - Cultivating the right mindset, culture, and behaviors for empowered and accountable Product Teams - Contributing to establishing, enforcing, and improving Software Development policies and procedures Qualifications required for this role include: - Recent hands-on experience in software development - Solid understanding of project SDLC - Experience in software for distributed production systems - Hands-on knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc. - Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures - Familiarity with tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories, etc. - Negotiation and mediation skills to understand business requirements - Experience in developing complex Java backends is an advantage - Passion for engineering and finding creative solutions to complex problems - Proven ability to understand root causes and provide long-term solutions - Strong collaboration and communication skills - Full software development life cycle experience - Risk management and reporting expertise - Demonstrable experience in Scrum Management In addition to the challenging role and responsibilities, GlobalLogic offers a supportive and inclusive culture, continuous learning and development opportunities, interesting and impactful work, balance and flexibility in work arrangements, and a high-trust environment focused on integrity and ethics.
