As an experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) Scrum Master at Citi, you will play a crucial role in leading Agile methodologies and ensuring successful project deliveries aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as a Scrum Master for Agile teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. - Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices. - Coaching and mentoring team members on Agile frameworks, promoting self-organization and accountability. - Removing impediments to progress and guiding the team to resolve issues effectively. - Collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and manage dependencies. - Monitoring and tracking team progress, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders. - Creating a positive team environment that encourages innovation and high-quality deliverables. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a large-scale enterprise environment, ideally in the financial services industry. - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred). - Proven track record of implementing Agile methodologies and driving Agile transformation. - Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. - Experience with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms. Preferred qualifications may include: - Experience in a leadership role within Agile teams. - Advanced Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Agilist (SA), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP). - Familiarity with scaling Agile frameworks in large organizational settings. - Knowledge of DevOps principles, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. - Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
