Scrum Master

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile development teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices. You will act as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, helping teams continuously improve and deliver high-value solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospective)

Ensure teams follow Agile principles, values, and practices

Remove blockers and impediments to the team's progress

Shield the team from external interferences and distractions

Guide and mentor team members on Agile/Scrum best practices

Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure well-defined and prioritized backlogs

Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, team health, etc.)

Promote continuous improvement and innovation in processes

Coordinate across teams and stakeholders for successful product delivery

Assist in Agile adoption and transformation initiatives across the organization

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software development projects

Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)

Experience with Agile project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or Rally

Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

Familiarity with software development practices (optional but preferred)

Ability to work effectively with distributed or remote teams

Preferred Certifications:

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Scrum Alliance

Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) Scrum.org

SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) – Scaled Agile

Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) – PMI

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD environments

Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS)

Understanding of UX, QA, and release planning processes

Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Miro, or LucidchartRole & responsibilities
