We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team; you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective project management practices and guiding the team towards successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management methodologies, possess excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate a deep understanding of Scrum principles. Roles and Responsibilities: Facilitate project management ceremonies, including planning sessions, daily stand-ups, progress reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to project management best practices. Coach and mentor the development team on project management methodologies, helping them to self-organize and improve their productivity. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and deliverables. Assist the team in breaking down complex tasks into actionable components, ensuring clear understanding and acceptance criteria. Monitor and track project progress, addressing any impediments or issues that may hinder the teams productivity. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members, stakeholders, and other project managers within the organization. Promote transparency by maintaining and updating project metrics, such as progress charts, milestones, and team capacity. Identify and address potential risks and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in project management methodologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the organization. Requirements Desired Candidate profile: Bachelor degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in a software development environment. Basic understanding of how software development works (SDLC) to work well with technical teams. Good knowledge of MS Excel is required Strong knowledge and practical experience with project management methodologies. Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects using project management best practices. Excellent leadership and facilitation skills, with the ability to guide and motivate cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is highly desired. Experience in coaching and mentoring teams on project management best practices. Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is a plus.
